Passengers were left stranded Wednesday as at least 10 flights from this city were cancelled after around 600 Air India pilots, who were with the erstwhile Indian Airlines, struck work demanding better pay and working conditions.
New strike was called Tuesday midnight. According to Indira Gandhi International Airport authorities in Delhi, seven domestic and three international flights of Air India were cancelled Wednesday.
Six flights from Mumbai to different destinations have been cancelled due to non-availability of pilots, official sources said.
